INGREDIENTS
two liters of chicken broth;
two large potatoes;
sorrel - two bunches / 300 g. sauerkraut;
two eggs.
METHOD
Boil the broth or, using already prepared, bring it to a boil.
Wash potatoes thoroughly, peel and cut into cubes. Gently put into boiling broth.
Cut the sorrel into thin strips.
Add sorrel or sauerkraut to boiled potatoes until tender. Put salt to taste, if the broth is unsalted, you can add a pinch of sugar with excessive sorrel acid.
Whisk the eggs in a separate bowl. Slowly pour the eggs into the soup, stirring with a fork at the point of contact between the egg mass and the hot soup to make strings and flakes.
After two minutes, turn off, leave for five minutes and serve with dill and parsley, adding mayonnaise or sour cream to taste.
