Try the delicious roasts, with potatoes and cheese, fried until crispy. And the kids will love it!

 INGREDIENTS

  • potatoes 200 g.;
  • bouillon powder or salt 1 teaspoon;
  • Cheddar cheese 75 g.;
  • 1 small egg;
  • potato starch 150 g.;
  • potato starch for breading.

 

METHOD

  1. Boil potatoes and mash. Add bouillon powder or salt, a small egg, grated cheese and potato starch to the cooled puree. Knead until smooth and make balls with a diameter of 4-5 cm.
  2. In warm (not boiling) water, add a teaspoon of vegetable oil and put the balls. Cook over medium heat until they float.
  3. We shift the balls into a bowl or onto a tray with starch. Sprinkle with starch on all sides. Let cool and make cross-shaped incisions deep to the middle of the ball. For children, instead of a cross, we make one incision and eyes so that Pacman comes out.
  4. Fry the fritters in deep fat, in half-heated oil, over medium heat, until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and let the oil drain.

 

Serve warm! It can be with sour cream, garlic or any other sauce.
